"A rich and creamy HD Blush naturally sculpts and highlights the cheekbones for a soft-focus effect that is great for everyday use."
I have been meaning to purchase these products for a very long time. Everytime that I go to the mall I always make a point to visit the ELF stall but unfortunately they always say that they don't have this specific product. Mind you, even the biggest malls like TriNoma and SM (North Edsa) Department store don't have this product.
Luckily, I have found an online store called Kering Keri Store (like them on facebook). The shop offers a wide range of authentic beauty products in a very affordable price so if you are planning of getting an authentic beauty product without breaking the back then you should try buying on them. The seller is super cool and ind too!
My plan was actually to get all five shades but unfortunately, theses two are only shades left available on Kering Keri Store so instead of waiting for them first to have all shades available, I have decided to get these two already and just repurchase the other three once it's already available.
Anyway, back to the review. . .
The packaging of this HD blush reminds me so much of the Make Up Forever HD Blush. It comes in small black and transparent white tube that has a built in pump which made dispensing the product easier. It's sleek, compact and very hygienic.
This product is very very pigmented that even just a dot (I guess) can already color both cheeks. The shades that I got were Encore and Superstar. The ELF Studio HD Blush in Superstar is warm peach with a slight pink udertone which I really liked since this is one of the most natural looking color of all shades while on the other hand, the ELF Studio HD Blush in Encore is a dark pink almost plum tone which is also a good shade but might not be like by those who prefer a more natural looking blush.
What's another good thing about this product (aside from being super pigmented) is it's staying power. Having an oily skin, I thought that this one will fade quickly but I was wrong. I wore this without anything onto my face (primer & foundation) and it took around 6-8 hours before it needs to be re-touched.
For me, the only downside about this product I guess is the fact that it quickly dries so you have to be very quick when it comes on blending this product onto your cheeks. It also dispense a tad much product even in just a single pump so you have to be very gentle on pumping "the pump".
Overall, being priced at Php 200.00 this is definitely worth every single penny. I mean, it's very rich and pigmented that even just a dot of this product can already go a long way. It also has a matte finish which I look for in a blusher as it gives skin more natural looking finish. Aside from that, this can also be used as a cheek tint (you're like hitting two birds with one stone with this product!) but before applying this on your cheeks I suggest that you put a balm first so that this will not look too dry and matte once applied onto your lips.
Ps; this post was intended to be posted on the first week of july but due to my very busy schedule I have almost forgotten that I have this one on my drafts so sorry for the loooooooooong delay.
