Paris Fashion Week: Hermès Spring 2014 Collection

For Spring 2014, designer Christophe Lemaire took Hermès into the middle of the jungle. The collection he showed was something that a real Hermès woman would pack to a tropical trip. There are pieces filled with giant waterlily florals inspired by Henri Rousseau (an artist who is popular when it comes to painting jungles even without having seen them), as well as monochromatic pieces in shades of greens, peach, teal and crisp white all in light, breezy and uncomplicated silhouette. Lemaire indeed knows what the Hermès woman really is all about . . . grace, elegance and ease all at the same time.
